Off-road use notice
Some of the work described on this website is for use off public roads only.
Which work this covers
Disabling or removing emissions equipment, such as the DPF (diesel particulate filter), EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) and AdBlue / SCR, as well as functions such as pops & bangs, is intended solely for competition vehicles or off-road use.
Legality
In Greece and the EU, a vehicle used on public roads must keep the emissions equipment it was type-approved with in working order. Removing it can lead to failing the roadworthiness test (KTEO), fines and insurance problems.
Owner's responsibility
The owner is responsible for the lawful use of the vehicle. Before such work we will inform you, and we may ask for a written statement on how the vehicle will be used.
Performance calibration (Stage 1–3, Eco, gearbox) does not require removing emissions equipment. Tell your insurer about any modification.
